Ugh.

Let me be perfectly honest, I am so new to this whole tumblr-twitter-instagram-meets-self-promo-business-type thing. You know social media all the time, everywhere, because blink once and you’ll miss it.  For being a part of the generation that created the freakin’ internet you’d think I would be a little more savvy.  Sigh. I am not.  

Currently, I am in the process of starting up a screen printing business.  Nothing crazy, limited run t’s and fine art prints.  Stuff I am already doing personally for friends and family only now with the intent of trying to make money.  I am excited.  I have a great support base of people in my life to help with this.  People like my beautiful wife Catherine, my brother Brian who has been helping me with getting a website up and finally, my best mate @zarias who is so connected to the interwebz you’d think he was Al Gore.  Yet, even now, sitting here typing this post requires an almost Herculean effort on my part.  I know I need to post to “build up content” as wiser people have told me, but at the same time I wonder why.  What’s the point?  Who cares?  

I do! I care because I want this screen printing business to succeed dammit!  I want people to be excited about the t-shirts/prints that I make. If I’m not excited about this new adventure, how can I expect others to follow suit?  I can’t.  So even though I lost my wallet today, my website won’t open up on iPhones & iPads because they don’t run Flash (Thanks Steve Jobs!) also did I mention I lost my wallet?!  Regardless,I am still going to sit and type this up and post it because sitting here whining to myself sucks.  

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some t-shirts to print.
